Beverly J. "Bev" (Walker) Winfrey 1938 - 2013

Beverly J. "Bev" Winfrey, 75, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 17, at College Park Community of Christ, 1021 W. College, Independence.

Bev was born July 14, 1938, in Independence, Missouri.

She was employed by Vendo, Fox Equipment, First American Insurance Co., and LabCorp before retiring.

She was an active member of College Park Community of Christ church, and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and reading.

Her biggest passion and greatest love was her family.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nicole Ann Winfrey. She is survived by her son, Jeff Winfrey (Renee); grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Zeih; great-grandson, Keenan Zeih; three brothers, Arnie Walker (Lou), Larry Walker (Iris), and Ronnie Walker (Mary); and several extended family members and friends.
