As a young woman, Joni was active in Jaycee Wives.

She was married to Bill Glenn of Liberty for 24 years until he passed away in 1997.

For the past 30 years, she has been very involved in Boy Scouts, earning the District Award of Merit and the National Silver Beaver Award.

Joni leaves behind her four children, Toni (Chuck) Donaldson, Bryan Paris, Kara Paris and Eric (Davinne) Glenn; two stepchildren, Rick (Stacy) Glenn and Suzette (Ed) Rakestraw; and a foreign exchange daughter, Yolanda Reclusa Esnoz from Spain.
