Barbara Thoman Curtis 1938 - 2020

Samuel Luallin Hallford, of Independence, Missouri was born June 4, 1938 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Samuel Leland and Lucy Maude (Luallin) Hallford. He departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 15 days.

On November 20, 2004, Sam was united in marriage to Phyllis Lee (Robinson) Bonney in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Sam was employed at the Claycomo Ford Plant for 35 years. He was an Army veteran. Same loved wood working and was a avid reader.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Barbara Hallford on March 24, 1984; his 2nd wife, Helen Hallford on August 14, 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Bonney) Hallford; two daughters, Susan Dugger and husband Scott and Cheryl Danner all of Blue Springs, Missouri; two step-sons, Michael Philipsheck, Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Anthony Philipsheck and wife Jenny, Lee's Summit, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Dugger, Lauren Rebish, Jeff, Matt and Alex Rogers; 6 step-grandchildren, Austin, Chesnea, Ashtyn, Evan, Drew and Brooks Philipsheck; two step-great-grandchildren, Greyson and Layton; other relatives and friends.

Cremation. A Memorial Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Mound Grove Cemetery, 1818 North River Blvd., Independence, Missouri 64050 with Military Honors.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
